Careers week
Pupils enjoyed an inspiring visit from Mr Dunn, a top data analyst for Manchester City, who delivered an interactive presentation about his work in elite sport! While many children dream of becoming professional footballers, Mr Dunn opened their eyes to the wider world of careers within the game. The session highlighted that while only 11 players take to the pitch, an entire team works behind the scenes to support them—broadening pupils' horizons and inspiring them to dream big about their future possibilities.
National Picnic Month
To celebrate National Picnic Month, pupils gathered for special reading buddy picnics with their partner classes across the school! Reading buddy sessions are a cherished highlight of our school calendar, and taking them outdoors provided a wonderful opportunity for children to connect and share their love of books. It was a joyful celebration of literacy and friendship, giving pupils quality time to read together, support one another, and build strong bonds across the school.
