Torkington Primary School Football Club

Football at Torkington Primary

At Torkington Primary School, we are proud to field two passionate football teams—a Boys' Team and a Girls' Team—made up of enthusiastic players from Year 5 and Year 6. Both teams demonstrate fantastic commitment with weekly training sessions led by Mr. Bethell, as well as regular fixtures throughout the season.

Our Boys' Team

Our Boys' Team has a proud history of success over many years. In 2026, they achieved a brilliant double victory, bringing home both the Small Schools League Cup and the Metro League Cup. Huge congratulations to the team!

They kicked off the new season on Monday, 12th October with an exciting away match against Queensgate. It was a fantastic first performance for our updated squad, earning a well-deserved 1–1 draw. An amazing effort from everyone involved—stay tuned for more fixture updates soon!

Our Girls' Team

Newly formed for 2026, our Girls' Team is brimming with energy and looking forward to competing in the Small Schools League. The girls are working hard in training and can’t wait to play their very first official matches this season!

Exciting News:

We are very lucky and grateful to announce that TISO Digital Marketing is our proud new football team sponsor! They have kindly provided funding for brand-new football kits for both teams. A big thank you to TISO Digital Marketing—we can't wait to reveal the new kit soon!
