Active Artists - Stockport County Community Trust
Combining artistic flair with high-energy sport, a six-week Friday afternoon initiative saw our pupils thrive in both Art and PE! After creating bold, Stockport-themed pop art inspired by local landmarks, our pupils headed onto the pitch for interactive team-building and football clinics. It was inspiring to see our pupils demonstrate such dedication, teamwork, and community pride across every session.
Celebrating Art Week – Curiosity and Kindness
Art Week brought incredible energy to our school as our pupils immersed themselves in hands-on creativity around the theme 'Curiosity and Kindness.' Stepping away from the regular timetable, our pupils explored new techniques through inspiring projects—from crafting Curiosity Spells, worry dolls, and hand-made fossils to building collaborative rollercoasters, creating vibrant outdoor pavement art, and painting personal self-portraits. It was a wonderful celebration of imagination, wellbeing, and community spirit, and we are so proud of the kindness and enthusiasm our pupils displayed all week!
