Careers week

In year 1 we had a visit from Mr Dunn, a top data analyst for Manchester City. He came and delivered an interactive presentation about his job inspiring the children in Year 1 to dream big. So many of them would like to be footballers, but he introduced them to other roles within the game that they could pursue too, widening their knowledge of the opportunities that are out there when working in football. There many only be 11 players on the pitch, but the team is huge and they can be part of it working alongside the players.

To celebrate National Picnic month in July this year, we had reading buddy picnics with our partner classes across the school. Reading buddy sessions are such a huge part of our year and the children enjoy them so much, we loved taking the opportunity to spend some quality time together and celebrate!
