Welcome to Nursery at Torkington Primary School
Meet the Team:
Our teaching team includes Mrs Herbert (Class Teacher Mon-Thurs) and Mrs Hollinshead (HLTA on a Friday) and Miss Hounslow (Teaching Assistant).
Our Class Texts used throughout this years topics are:
· Traditional Tales Topic - The 3 little pigs, Goldilocks, Little red hen, Handa'a suprise
· Festivals & Celebrations topic - Mog's Birthday, Room on the broom, Nativity Story, Stickman, Guy Fawkes, The great chinese new year race
· Dinosaur Topic - Harry and his bucketful of Dinosaurs
· Pirate Topic - Pirates Love Underpants
· Superhero Topic - Supertato, Community Superheros, Superworm
· Animal Topic - Minibeasts, farm and jungle books
· Space Topic - Where do the stars go? The way back home
Important Information
· We have PE every Wednesday with Mr Bond and every Thursday with Mrs Herbert so please ensure that suitable footwear for PE is in school.
· Every Tuesday Nursery take part in reading buddies with Year 3.
