Year 6 did an amazing job harvesting the honey from ours Honeybees this September. They all took part from extracting the honey to bottling it all up ready to sell. We hope everyone enjoys tasting the Torkington Honey just as much as the Year 6 children did.
Good Luck to our Year 6 students that are leaving us today to start their new adventures at secondary school. We wish them all the best for the future.
We would like to say a huge thank you to everybody that took part in our Careers Fair.
The children absolutely loved visiting the various stands, which were kindly exhibited by parents and members of our local community. We really do appreciate everyone taking time out of their busy schedules to talk to our children, and provide them with the opportunity to explore career options on offer to them in the future.
Thank you for making the event such a fun and inspiring experience for all involved. We really do appreciate your support
Year 5 have enjoyed learning about our honeybees this week and have been able to take part in building a new beehive. This will hopefully become a new home for upto 50,000 honeybees this summer!
All the children and staff really enjoyed taking part in World Book Day this year. Everyone put in a great effort to dress up as favourite book characters.
Thank you to everyone who purchased items and made donations for The Poppy Appeal at the start of November. £256.44 was collected in total and greatly received by The Royal British Legion. Your support is much appreciated.
